Youth protection

Notes regarding the law for the protection of children and youth in the Taunus Therme.

As there are also gastronomy areas located in the facilities of the Taunus Therme, the following should be noted in regards to the law for the protection of children and youth:

1. Children and youth under 16 years may only visit the Taunus Therme accompanied by a legal guardian or parent.

2. Youth between 16 and 18 years may visit the Taunus Therme unaccompanied, but after 24 o’clock (i.e. during the prolonged opening hours of the “Long Night”) they also must be accompanied by a legal guardian or parent.

3. Regarding the sale, serving, and consumption of alcoholic beverages, the provisions of Section 9 of the law for the protection of children and youth apply (see accompanied print of laws).

4. As far as the law for the protection of children and youth where appropriate age limits must be observed, the staff of the Taunus Therme may demand a suitable proof of person concerned (e.g. presentation of ID card). If the demand is one of accompaniment by a parent, these people must prove their eligibility upon request of the staff of the Taunus Therme.
